AFRICA South Africa is the most modern countries today, both economically, politically, and socially. Certainly as a former British colony of the newly independent in 1910 and became a republic in 1961, still a lot of imbalances and patchwork here and there. Modernization had not yet succeeded in touching the whole area of 1,221,037 square kilometers.
One of the most loaded region with modernization is Johannesburg. City of gold and diamond producer, who in the 19th century took the arrival of immigrant gold miners from all over the world, has now become the largest city in South Africa which is inhabited by people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
